FAQ
●Where do your materials come from?●
All materials are ethically sourced.
The bones come from animals found in the forest, roadkill, or are donated by trusted people.
The feathers are picked up from birds found dead in nature or offered as gifts.
The leather is either hand-tanned by me using ancestral, natural techniques, or recycled from old garments and offcuts.
●Is it safe to wear bones or feathers?●
Yes. All bones and feathers are hand-cleaned, naturally disinfected and processed with care.
Each piece is safe to wear, durable, and made with deep respect for the animal and the land.
●How do I care for my Önonta jewelry or clothing?●
Keep your piece away from water, perfume or harsh chemicals.
Store your jewelry in a dry place.
For hand-tanned leather garments: avoid machine washing. Use a damp cloth and natural oils if needed.
●Can I request a custom piece?●
Yes. I sometimes offer custom creations depending on the materials available and my creative flow.
